How to remove lug nuts that are stuck from inside a rim without damaging the rim?

Frozen or most likely striped lug nut wont come off. Tire shop wants to use an air chisel to get it off, they
may damage the wheel.
Any ideas on how to deal with this?

There is a new tool on the market, check out the lug ripper to remove the lug nut without damaging the wheel. Go to www.lugripper.com to order it.
