Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I lost my keys at work.. called my insurance..
long story short.. he made me a new key.. but
now my car only runs if I keep giving it gas.. if I
let off the gas it shuts down.. radio n everything
else stays on.. I'm confused because gateway
told me my car was in good condition.. battery..
alternator.. motor.. does anyone know what my
problem could be? Thanks.

You probably have a security system problem. If your old key had a chip, the new one may not be fully compatible which means you probably will have to take the car to a Lexus dealer along with proof of ownership.
