Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Yes hi I bought a used Lexus ES300 2000 of the car was not maintained very well but at the price I got it for it was exactly what I needed I've had the car year and I've had to replace the alternator and that's it. But as of lately I was driving my vehicle and I've heard like a clunk or a bang and my car just will not going to drive it will not go into reverse I'm living in my car so I am desperate for answers! Replace the neutral control switch the linkage is fine started to do the CV axle cuz I'm not a mechanic but I've done all my own work and I got halfway through that and then had to replace CV axle but I don't know how to troubleshoot my vehicle and not a technician and I'm pretty much broke I really need some help if anybody can help me! Thank you for your time and consideration
