mileage

Asked by joef619 Oct 08, 2008 at 08:48 PM about the 1995 Lexus ES 300 FWD

Question type: General

Would 153000 miles be considered a lot for this car? And could I rely on the engine to keep running well? Also the engine will idle when turned on....why could that be?thanxs

315

If you take care of a Lexus, it should last at least 200,000 miles before any serious engine problems occur. I have a friend who drives a '94 ES300 with 312,000 miles and it's still running strong. My '98 SC300 has 145,000 and it runs like a top. I'm a little confused by your second question...
