2005 Porsche Cayenne weird ticking noise been going on for acouple years have heard 3 different explanations .... Anyone ever heard of this ?

Engine off. Turn on heating blower to lowest setting. Might be a leaf of some insulation in or near the fan. Engine on. Most likely a bad or stuck hydra hydraulic lifter. Run a can of motor flush for 10-15 minutes then change the oil. Make sure you use a Porsche spec synthetic oil.

Bullshit.. I have a 2004 Cayenne S it’s been taking so I don’t even drive it anymore Porsche would not stand behind it seems like it’s a piston slap with a sleeve on the piston failed and Porsche knows about this but will not warrant it. Porsche sucks. In my eyes if they’re that good they should stand behind It as many people who are having this problem.
