Find the extent of the wreck and the repairs. If extensive, I wouldn't rely on it unless you are a mechanic and can properly evaluate the quality of repairs. If minimal damage, evaluate the car as unwrecked and subtract the cost of repairs to protect yourself. E.G, If the car in perfect shape is worth $22,000 and the repairs were $3,000, I'd say it should sell for $19,000 for a buyer to take the risk of purchasing this. And if you're the buyer, have a mechanic check out the car before buying it.
