Key stuck In ignition. Shifter moves without engaging the button

Took car to shop for master cylinder to be replaced
. Kept car 3 almost 4 weeks still not repaired towed
back home now the shifter moves without
engaging brakes or button. Key is stuck in ignition

Shift interlock is obviously messed up. Was it like that before you took it to this shop? You can also try turning steering wheel (right or left) to try and take some pressure off the ignition lock cylinder to get your key out.

No the car was fine. I sent it on the flat bed to get new tires. The truck driver drove it up on the ramp. When he got to the shop yo take it down the brakes went out.the gear shift was workin
