Car Engine Fans?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Okay I just bought my Pontiac Bonneville
ssei don't know alot about it just yet but I'm
pretty sure my fans should be turning on
wheny engine is hot right? Or does it come
on randomly I have no idea but I have seen
them come on since I drove it yet. If so why
aren't they coming on and if there's a reason
please let me know and if I replace it will it
work ? Is there a fuse for it I need to put in ?
And where is it located if so thanks?

Cooling fans turn on and off when needed if the problem is a fuse there should be a fuse box on driver Side on the side of the dash only accessible when door is open another fuse box is located in engine bay. If fuses are good and you believe it's getting to hot your motors are bad DO NOT OVER HEAT...... another possibility could be you need a new thermostat.... good luck.
