A.c. blows hot after I recharged it

Yesterday I recharged my air conditioner with
R134a I use the gauge and I fill it to the proper level
it was low and that is why I filled it to the proper
level now it blows hot air it was blowing halfway
decent cold air before I recharged it why is it doing
this and how can I fix it

Yes it clicks on and the idle goes up 2 1500 rpms and then cuts off and idles down
