Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have Pontiac g6 with a p0014 code I changed
both the cam shaft and it went away then came
right back what could be wrong

1 Answer

930

Code P0014 means camshaft over advanced. My guess is that the camshaft might be off timing a cog or two in one direction or the other. I don't have any direct experience with this engine. Just interpreting the code for you. Be careful if this is an interference engine...valves may hit the pistons if the cam is out of timing.
