(Please Help) High RPM when accelerating ...

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When i exit off the freeway and i stop at light the
motor still is tunning at high rpm and.when i sit
with the car on (Parked) the rpm is high but after 3
mins or so it runs normal , When I start it again to
go somewhere after i go 35 mph the rpm is high
again... Does any one know whats going on?
