What would make my Gauges stop working and my mileage stop working as well as my Alternator?

Asked by Militia May 07, 2011 at 10:52 AM about the 1995 Ford E-Series E-150 XL Club Wagon

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My van will start and run fine. But after about 15-30 minutes it will stall out. I know this problem is the alternator. But it is a brand new alternator, Purchased less than a month ago. And my speedometer, milage, basically all of my gauges stopped working at the same time. I was thinking that it might be fuses, but i replaced every fuse in and out of the van. Now im thinking it might be the Cluster and the Voltage regulator, But im not wanting to spend money( that i don't have) on something i don't need. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

new parts are sometimes bad,if reman,as for the gauges not working, most likely the cluster.
