ignition makes clicking sound and won't start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

you need a new battery if it's over five years old...if someone left the lights on or a glovebox light leaving the battery dead...give it a charge, else get a new Interstate or NAPA...a good one (no walmart), next clean the black cable connection to the chassis/frame....get it down to shiny metal with a wirebrush...it can pull the necessary amperage that way, also the connection to the engine block~
