Can I go from Abilene Texas to
Midland Texas on a half a tank of
gas?

That trip is 150 miles and if your vehicle can get about 20 mpg and half a tank is about 9 gallons, you might make it even though it's cutting it close. Buying a couple gallons extra would be good insurance for only $5. Running the fuel tank that dry often causes the fuel pump to fail. Don't let that happen.
