Generally you remove two to four large Phillips head screws. They hide them behind reflectors, in arm rests and behind window control panels. Roll the window down before removing the control panel. After you think all the screws are out, feel around the bottom of the panel for a indentation in the center. Pull on that to pop the plastic christmas tree plugs out of the door. You can use a trim tool, putty knife or large flat blade screwdriver to pop them all around the edge. If a section is not moving, look for another screw. After all the studs are popped, tilt the bottom out and push up to free the top lip. Remember how the trim goes back. --- Carefully pull the inner liner free in the area of the mirror. Don't rip it - it keeps water out.
