on the 1998 olds aurora 4.0 engine to line up the timing marks on the cams is the intake position on both sprockets supposed to be at a 90 degree angle or is on suposed to be an exaust position and the other an intake position at a 90 degree angle facing up?

talked to the dealer and he said the sprockets have to be set one on intake and the other on exhaust at 90 degree angle.
