Need help

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Was driving on the interstate and there was a
bump in the road I guess and when we hit it, it
seemed loud but we didn't notice any unusual
sounds or feelings but we made a stop for about 2
hours and got back on the interstate and now the
car has vibrations coming from the passenger side
floor board is all I know of so far. And sounds like a
tiny bit of squeekage from the front end. What
might be a problem??

A rule of thumb is "vibrations" are caused by rotating parts, so it could be the wheel was knocked off balance, or you damaged the wheel bearing/hub, but hub damage would likely involve a lot more noise than you're reporting. You might have just knocked off a counter-weight from the rim. Of course you might have other minor damage too, sway links tend to take a lot of abuse and they do squeak or groan when going bad, as do tie rod ends. Best thing to do though is inspect it thoroughly or take it somewhere for servicing, as this is obviously a safety issue.
