Welcome to the screwed up world of GM. I hope it’s still under warranty cause it going to cost a bundle if it’s not, and don’t expect to get it fixed very fast, I’ve been waiting for over six weeks for parts.

Ditto to what GA said. Plus, don't fool with it or let anyone else but the Dealer look at it! If you bought this vehicle brand new, review the terms and conditions of The Lemon Law in your State! You should be entitled to a loaner vehicle for HOWEVER LONG your vehicle is tied up at the Dealer!! Let the Dealer tow it in for free too! When my Niece's '17 Malibu was less than six months old the transmission quit on her! It took six weeks to get the vehicle fixed and back to her! I didn't hear about it until after the fact because I told her not to buy it in the first place! To add insult to injury the Dealer didn't even offer her a loaner car until the beginning of the fourth week! Under our State's Lemon Law she was also entitled to make GM buy the vehicle back because it took so long to fix it! Their excuse was the parts were coming from China!! The car hasn't been right since she got it back! Even now when she is approaching a stop the engine revs up with her foot off the accelerator pedal. It didn't do that before the transmission quit! If it was my car GM would have eaten that piece of junk a long time ago!! But she "loves" the car and blah, blah, blah! Don't let them get away with anything on this! Know your rights and use them!! On the domestic side, in my opinion, Ford is the way to go! I've owned my '08 Grand Marquis for ten years and it's been in the shop twice! Once for the instrument cluster to be replaced and a second time for the air conditioning to be repaired! Good luck to you with this!! Hope that helps!! Jim
