radio wires for 1996 explorer xlt

i have replaced my factory radio which quit
working with a sony dax-a415bt. the wiring
diagram which matches the vehicle. but i have
the xlt of this and it has the 6 cd changer. i’m
trying to figure out what protocal a, protocal b,
and audio on wires mean from factory wiring
to get my radio to have sound.

crutchfield.com would be able to get you the correct wiring diagram for your vehicle.
