How do I repair my ford radio

The radio in my 96 explorer quit working. All fuses and
wires are good. Ir wont turn on. All the knobs and buttons
light up. Any idead ?

It isn't worth the expense in having an old OEM radio repaired these days. If in fact the amplifier section burnt, it will be hard to tell unless you do some further testing on the wiring and or remove and take it apart. You'll want to test the wiring to see if in fact it is the radio or the wiring to the radio. A good mechanic can help you. But if it is the radio, I'd find another one on ebay to replace it. Probably $50. Or better yet get an aftermarket one with bluetooth for a little more. Check out crutch field.com
