Call your local salvage yard. They will be able to tell you if they have compatible transmissions. Or call local tranny shop for rebuild estimate. If your not replacing it yourself, it may cost just as much by the time you get a second hand tranny and pay for all the labor for the install.

Only 1 tranny for the 4.0 V6 in 96. Personally I would not go with a junk yard transmission. Rebuilding the one you have is probably the best bet.
