Asked by Rankinville Feb 08, 2021 at 10:23 PM about the 2020 Honda Accord Hybrid Touring FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

This is follow up to the loud humming on my
2020 Accord touring hybrid. When you call
honda regarding this ear deafening hum when
car is cold and around 50 mph they know
nothing about it. Found out from master tech
finally that the engineers do know about the
problem but engineers only report to the
master tech at the dealers which they need to
communicate issue directly to honda also
because many people getting the run around.
They talked to thier honda rep and it is the
ANC and can only be fixed by ordering the
2021 ANC PART  not the actual 2020 part. He
is guaranteeing me this fixes the problem.
Mine started after the latest recalls on the
software and dc converter, January 2021 it
was fixed for recalls)  although this part is
different. I have only 450 miles on my car
when this s Started. Now it is more frequent.
My fingers are crossed it will fix it. Shame on
honda for continuing to sell these cars with a
known problem. They are saying cosmetic so
no recall will likely happen idk but people
keep calling honda

So far so good. Honda put a 2021 ANC unit instead of the actual year part of 2020 and it fixed the problem so far.
