Brakes?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hey, I'm new to car maintenance and had a quick question about what's wrong with my 95 Sentra. I'm pretty sure it's the brakes but I don't know if it's the pads or the rotors.

From about 20mph to 45 or so there's a scraping/squealing sound that is coming from my wheels. How serious is this? I've read online that most brake pads will make noise but I would just like to be sure.

If you aren't on the brakes when you hear the noise, the more likely suspect is going to be wheel bearing(s).
