98 Nissan Sentra Grounding wire

Can't find out where to connect the grounding wire
on to the engine.

Ground wire for what? As far as battery ground, in the past, on different year--make--model. I run the ground wire to alternator bracket, On that vehicle, the alternator mounting bracket was a big piece of metal, I just drilled a hole in it and mounted the battery neg, there. Everything worked ok afterwards. Of course, I can't see your vehicle from here. You would have to route cable away from belt--pulleys--exhaust. Then make sure everything works. Just my opinion.
