I am looking to buy a car and came across a 2003 Honda civic hybrid. The guy said that the hybrid battery isn't working right but it will run just like a regular car. Is that true?

Question type: General

Can I drive the car and it will be fine without
the hybrid electric battery working and it
will just run off the gas and everything will
be normal? I don't know much about
hybrids.

If battery is not working right, don,t buy it,it is a very costly fix,and the hybrid run,s half off of it,yes it will run on gas,but you will find a lot of issue,s going on with it,with out the battery, have him fix it,or don,t buy it.You will be jumping into something that could end up costing you way more trouble than it is worth.
