2000 Frontier cranks but not start

Asked by McNew May 20, 2018 at 07:38 PM about the 2000 Nissan Frontier 2 Dr XE Extended Cab SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

First it would not start due to the plastic button on
the clutch to clutch switch breaking (which i found
out what it was later). I push started the truck a
couple times and it ran fine. Once i fixed the plastic
button on clutch arm it would not start. The fuel
pump, filter, cap, rotor, wires, and fuses are all
good. I get spark at plugs. Carb cleaner in throttle
body but not ingnition

OK you have fuel there, but are the injectors injecting fuel? Did you check for pulse at the injectors?Power, ground?injector relay, fuse? I feel there's something shutting off the injectors, and this all started with a clutch switch? Missing something.

are you sure your not in security mode? Did you try locking then unlocking drivers door with key (not fob)? Did you try your extra key?

No security. I havent checked pulse. I will check that next. If no pulse is there what would cause that.?
