Fan for AC/heater wont come on

I turn on my fan switch and sometimes it comes on
sometimes not.. What is wrong?

Any motor that uses brushes, may run intermittently because of bad brushes. Check voltage and ground at blower motor with controls on, if good voltage and ground with no blower action, suspect the blower motor itself.
