2020 ford escape titanium

Asked by Guru9WM9XG Mar 09, 2021 at 09:14 AM about the 2020 Ford Escape Titanium AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2 questions, same car: When I start my 2020 ford escape titanium,  it will sit
like in park until I give a touch of acceleration. Then, it goes. What can this
be? Also, when I open the door I hear something near the rear kind of click
or pop like something is opening....what is this? The dealer says it's a fuel
pump and normal, but I'm not buying that. The repair shop where I bought
this is pretty clueless and could not fix that popping problem. Thanks in
advance for any assistance.
