I am considering buying a 2020 chevy tahoe that you have listed. It says it is a
one owner,Avis. Would the factory warranty still be good? What are the
disadvantages of buying a rental? This one has been listed for quite a while.

Ask the seller. If the miles are not expired on the warranty it should transfer to the new owner.
