2003 altima changed enigine starts but no dash or reverse lights

I changed my sons 2.5l engine with a 2.0
replacement had a few issues so now I have
everything that was on his running motor to this
one new battery and alternator it starts but idles up
and down has nothing on dash and no reverse
lights but everything else is fine Please Help
