I have a 2004 Nissan Titan 4X4 that has the rear wiring harness melting because of broken tailpipe. Can the wiring be repaired or will I have to replace the harness.

lights to come on along with the Service Engine Soon light.

Yes but I wouldn't use butt connectors to splice them. Solder them together and use shrink tubing over the splice.

And use a voltmeter to make sure the rest of those wires to be repaired are in spec and check your work during and after and also make sure fuse block has not burned out and need a new one.
