will a battery go dear if the car is only driven 6 miles a day 5 days a week

I am a student and only drive my car 6 miles a day 5 days a week and I have
had to jump my car off twice in a little over two months. am i not driving my car
enough to keep the battery charged. the battery is only about a year old.

You should have the charging system (alternator) checked. Driving it 6 miles, 5 times a week is plenty of time to keep the battery charged.
