2005 Nissan Sentra Starting hot then cooling down after 15 minutes

Asked by GrumpieKitten94 Feb 24, 2020 at 03:11 PM about the 2005 Nissan Sentra 1.8 S

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2005 nissan sentra will start hot even if it has sat all
night. It goes down after about 15 minutes of driving and
no steam, smoke or anything comes out of the engine and
it drives just like normal. It doesnt do it everytime but
probably about 45% of the time. Anybody know what's
going on? I've looked and looked for an answer

Look for any cobb job wiring , check for good engine to chassis ground , check the ohms through the sensor when it does it and when it does not , see if it's a match .
