Temp gage needle suddenly shoots to high

Can't see a leak? Check your oil. Does it look like a milkshake? If so blown head gasket.

Have you filled both the radiator and the tank? If the car is burning coolant, you'll see white smoke getting out of exhaust.

Thanks for all helps. I check the coolant after open the radiator cover, looks like just a little oil inside the coolant. I just filled the reservor of the coolant, when start the car at the begining, saw a little white smoke last 30 seconds and then turn out normal.

The oil looks normal and clean.

Looks like a blown head gasket. You should get it fixed if you plan to keep the car for some time. Head could also be damaged.

I looked at edge of the head gasket,it is clean, no oil leak or something like that, does is still the problem of head gasket, two week ago, drive to midas and check it, after they drived 4 miles, they didn't find any problem. just said some problem with convert, need to change convert.

The leak won't necessarily go to the exterior of the engine. Gasket not only prevents fluids from getting out of the engine; it also prevents them to mix up with each other.
