gear stuck can not get in reverse or park nissan murano 2005

When driving, time to park or go to reverse gears are stuck.I can get in neutral, but can
not get gear in reverse or park , cannot get keys out of ignition. Then I sat for a while  with
gear in neutral than try to put gear in park and it went to park was able to get keys out.

Try lubricating the linkage. Get a can of JB penetrating oil and spray the hell out of the linkage. Don't forget to get the linkage around the brake peddle.

I was having the same problem. I went to put my car in park and neutral is as far as it would go. I finally noticed a little slot above the shifter that said shift lock. I took a key and pushed in on it and it let me change gear.
