The car stopped. I had to restart by pumping the accelerator. The car moved forward at a slow steady pace till I reached the desired speed. No matter how much gas peddle I gave it the car kept the same pace--slow.
Throttle position sensor comes to mind for this one. Have you had the codes read for any stored or pending codes?
I will check Monday about the codes. Yes there were codes but they pointed to the cam shaft and transmission. I don't remember the exact codes but I'll check on Monday. My first thought was the drive chain but there is no noise from the engine. When the codes were removed the car returned to normal. I was told the codes probably will come back.
