Yes was charged the first time , one month later it happens again . They did not charge me the second time. Now my frontier has the same problem , I found out they use a soy product on the insulation which attracts the mice. There should be a law suit or a recall

I worked in a Range Rover repair shop and this is a common problem with a lot of vehicles there are a lot of things you can do to prevent rodents. Rodents not only like to chew on the wiring but when it gets colder they will look for a place to live to keep warm. Get dryer sheets put them in the trunk, under the hood (when not in use), under all seats in the car, and driver's floor.... Mice hate the smell.... You can also get mothballs and hang them under the hood of the vehicle but you must remember to remove them when you use the vehicle and don't put them near the washer reservoir.
