why would my brake pedal engage when I push in the clutch???Why does the brake pedal stick?? People in cars behind me can't understand why I brake every time I shift into a new gear? help me please?

Look and see if something is stuck under the dash that is causing the clutch pedal to push on the brake pedal.

Oh I am so hoping its that simple. (Like making sure the TV that isn't working is plugged in.) I've had a few big issues with this vehicle already so I tend to not consider the obvious and go straight to wtf now. Will be checking that as soon as I get home. Thank you... Fingers crossed..
