Asked by April Jun 04, 2019 at 07:57 PM about the 2005 Chrysler Town & Country Touring FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I know that it's been done on many vehicles that we've own
before but I can't take the thermostat just completely out
since it's summer correct? I just filed for divorce in my
husband always done all this stuff and of course everything
goes wrong after I leave him

Why do u wanna take the thermostat out? Is it overheating? The thermostat allows the coolant in the radiator a chance to stop and cool before entering the engine again, other on a really hot day stuck in traffic your car can overheat

the thermostat allows the engine to reach operating temp. Who ever was taking out the thermostat on other vehicles is a dope and shouldn't be touching any ones car . Is your ex. a saboteur ?
