wher is the fuel pump located on a ford explorer

Inside the fuel tank, which has to be removed to access and remove it. It fits into the tank on the top side.

pull the back driver's side seat. cut out (carefully) the raised area that the seat covers. Fuel pump access is right there. 2-door, maybe not. Be sure before you cut.
