Check fluid first, if full I would use a fluid extraction pump or hand pump with tubing that will fit in dipstick and pump out at least 1 quart to 3 quarts of fluid. Add 1 quart of Lucas transmission fix $10 and any additional fluid you pump out add manufacturers recommend fluid type. After adding shift through gears slowly multiple times. If that helps or not I would change transmission filter next before having transmission rebuilt. I’ve done this before and it came back to life!
