I messed up the post. Here is my issue. Just changed alternator (old one went bad), everything is back together. I start the thing, and the oil pressure gauge goes right to high. Maxxed out. After about 30 seconds to a minute, the engine temp gauge goes high too. No idea what is up. Never had this happen before. Belt is right, switched batteries with a known good one, all the connectors are right. Starts and runs fine. What's the deal with the gauges?
