What is cause of #2 cyl misfire

Asked by Ken Mar 06, 2020 at 02:54 PM about the 1997 Ford Expedition 4 Dr Eddie Bauer 4WD SUV

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I have a 97 expedition, 5.4 L. With ongoing misfire
on #2 cylinder. I have replaced the plug, coil on
plug, and injector. Problem persists. I am leaning
toward the pcm. I have used an electrical test light
which shows voltage at the cop. But have not
taken any voltage readings.

then I would suspect the valve on that cylinder. Perform some more tests. Like a cylinder pressure test and leak down tests on all cylinder.
