Factory Stereo Brackets for 2001 Mitsubishi Galant do not fit my new Bluetooth stereo, help?

The stereo maker says it is compatible with
my model of car. I removed the old stereo
but the brackets do not fit my new stereo. I
have the wiring down fine but I simply
cannot seat the new unit into the old radio
slot. I can find no single DIN installation
kits for my make either. Any help?

Contact the manufacturer that told you it would fit.
