The alarm keeps going off at random even if it is not armed. I replaced the battery in the remote but that didn't solve the problem.

I tried looking for in both fuse panels but none of them say "alarm" or "security". I disconnected the negative battery terminal for now. Would that reset it as well?

On my 2001 Diamante, cycling the driver side door locks did it (using the key to lock and unlock the door until the alarm quit).

2003 Mitsubishi Diamante, Key fob is lost and the doors got locked accidentally, now the panic alarm will not stop and the car stalls when trying to drive it. Please help.
