after installing an after market radio in 2002 galant

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
After I installed an after market stereo in a 2002 gallant the speedometer and odometer stopped working. I changed the vss and that just made the engine run worse. Actually I changed both sensors. I replaced the after market back with the original stereo and still no speed/odo. Someone told me that it is probably the main circuit board. Does anyone have a diagram or suggestion on how to get to the circuit board to replace it?

What in the world would make you change a sensor, obviously the radio itself is not connected to your speedometer. You screwed up something when you wired in the radio

O.K. then what do you suggest genius. I know I screwed something up while wiring up the stereo, that's a given.
Sorry if I offended you, if it was already "a given" then why did you change a sensor? Wires that short or get connected to the wrong thing can and will cause havoc. The PCM reads inputs (electrical) so have you burned out a wire or fuse and therefore no input to read?If I turn on my kitchen lights and they don't come on and I call an electrician and ask him what is wrong - he'll tell me to maybe check the bulb, the fuse, the switch ,the wires from the panel to the switch, the wires from the switch to the bulb - GET THE IDEA!
