Front wheel drive, the only cars in the mitsubishi class that are all wheel are the infamous EvO

The evo, 3000gt,eclipse (earlier models) all old and new suv's, dodge stealth rt's, mitsu gto's , some fto's , eagle talons, some eagle premieres are all wheel drive and I may have missed a few Japanese only models. I'm not sure what the question was but, This seems to be an open conversation so I hope I can help.

Front wheel drive. Really though that’s the only difference that you can't change on the lancer to make it into an Evo.

the last rear wheel drive lancer is the a173/a175 lancer "boxtype" like my ride. all lancer from the 90's onwards are front drives. it is technically possible to convert a lancer into an evo, all you need is a donor car to get parts from. it is a very popular convertion here in the philippines where standard lancers are often modded to become jdm style evos

Hey Chris that is some great info. I'm buying a 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse and looking for a way to make it all wheel disc brake and all-wheel drive. Do you know a way to do that?
