2019 camry floor leak rear right side

Asked by Guru921DJ9 Sep 12, 2022 at 07:11 PM about the 2019 Toyota Camry LE FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After driving through a rain storm, I found at least a quart of water on the floor in front of the right rear seat.  There is a flap in the carpet under the passenger seat in that area that can be lifted up revealing two (screw/bolt?) holes with nothing in them.  The rear seat air vent  also comes up under the carpet and exits under this seat.  Any ideas or suggestions on how to find the leak?  None of the rest of the floor areas are wet.

If you can see to the ground through those holes then plug them. Check the door drains cause they can spill over into the inside and the doors weatherstrip, look for rips and anyplace where it might be coming loose.

That 2019 is far too new to have problems like that; and I don't believe a Toyota would leave the factory like that either. Whether you have warranty left or not, I'd take it to the Toyota dealer to inspect. If you bought it new, they WILL help you. If you bought it used, they likely will as well, but there's the likelihood that the previous owner caused this problem.

With no reply to the question about a Sun Roof. There are Drains at each corner of said roof. Suggest you check those drains.....for obstructions. If this vehicle has No SR.....as noted above....check the Door Drains for obstructions. Get back with results.
