Transmission problem

My car goes in 1 and 2 and reverse but no higher
gears

I would have the transaxle diagnosed by a mechanic. It might be an internal issue , but maybe a sensor or solenoid. It will would be hard for someone online to tell you what it is without proper diagnostic equipment.
