Hello everyone. I have a 2005 mini cooper, why are my headlights curved at the top and barely visible on the road?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I picked up my vehicle today from the shop
(hit a deer) and since weve had the vehicle
our lights have had that grimey dirty
exterior. the shop replaced one of the
lights, so it is much clearer. with it being
clearer comes another issue. the visible
light boundary ends less than 5 feet in front
of me with my high beams turned off. i
dont see that anything in the light is
crooked or blocking it more than the stock
arrangement, so my question is: is it a mini
thing for the light to be cut off at such a
short distance? or is there something else
wrong?

It sounds like the lights need to be aimed properly.

You may want to try to give it a realky good cleaning, use rubbing compound, dont buy that lens kit, to expensive

I have found that Meguiar's lens cleaning compound works very well and is not expensive. I think rubbing compound would be too aggressive.
